Reviews for Rustic Cantina LLC
Review highlights
Based on 156 reviewsRustic Cantina LLC in Vian, OK, is widely praised for its vibrant atmosphere and high-quality Mexican cuisine that rivals offerings found in larger cities. Patrons consistently highlight the friendly, attentive staff and clean, inviting environment. The restaurant's diverse taco selections and well-crafted drinks receive particular commendation, with many appreciating the unique flavors and generous portions. While a few suggest enhancements such as a signature sauce, overall feedback underscores the reasonable pricing and the establishment’s appeal as a welcoming, flavorful dining destination ideal for both casual visits and special stops during travel. Rustic Cantina is regarded as a local gem with a strong reputation for quality and hospitality.
As my choice for the best restaurant in Sequoyah County, Rustic Cantina has an excellent selection of Mexican food and drinks, all served up in a clean, vibrant setting. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable (especially considering the quality of the food). I strongly recommend the chicken taco as well as the catfish taco. If you’re with a friend and feeling adventurous (and very hungry), you may as well go ahead and order the “Brush Pile” to give each of their tacos a choice. You won’t be disappointed in the least!
We ate here 2 times in 3 days. Everything we ordered both times was great. We loved the atmosphere. This is a restaurant you would expect to see in a bigger city. I would highly recommend this place. It is a real gem.
Passing through on 40 and decided to try some tacos. Really nice place, well designed and excellent tacos. Only thing missing is a signature sauce like avocado ranch or a creamy chipotle. Hot sauce for chips pretty bland but still 5 stars here. All in all worth the time to stop.
Came across this gem on one of our trips to Lake Tenkiller. Needless to say, we are hooked! The drinks were perfect and we couldn’t decide on the tacos so we got The Pile (one of each). Every taco was unique in its own way and bursting with flavor. We tell everyone about this place and look forward to each lake trip just so we can stop in and eat here.
My first time inside the place. I felt invited by the staff and there service was good. I enjoyed the bar and my meal. Great place to get outta the big city and still have fancy food. Enjoy
Stopped after 10 hours of road tripping. Really great place in an unexpected small town stop. Tacos were inspired and uniquely delightful in flavor and better than 95% of what’s out there. Loved that the nachos were not covered in chemical laden queso - rather real cheese! Service was great! Super clean and obviously heavily invested in the classy remodel. Skip the fast food and treat yourself here - A gem!
Such a little gem! We were passing through town and stopped here for dinner. We got the taco sampler and tried all of the tacos...9 tacos for 29....can’t beat that. The tacos are big and loaded with meat and toppings. Some of them were so unique and they were amazing! We live in Dallas with awesome restaurants on every corner, so when we travel, our expectations are low. This restaurant is as good as restaurants in the big city. It has a great vibe. The margarita was ok...if they added some fresh lime juice, that would make it even better. Definitely stop here and try this place.
We finally decided to try Rustic Cantina. It's definitely more Tex-Mex, but it was really good. I had the Indian Taco, and it was a really nice mix of soft and crunchy bread. The chips were store bought, but they were the best chips. Crunchy, but it seemed to melt in your mouth. The salsa was very thick and flavorful and even a bit warm to hot. The kind of heat that builds up over time. My husband had the Smoke Show Taco which is smoked brisket. He said they were pretty damn good, so I tried a bite. They are pretty damn good. My only complaint is the sweet tea wasn't sweet enough. Not bad for the small town of Vian, OK.
